Proof Lincoln Cents
1916 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. Reddish-brown, steel-blue, and violet tones provide color to this impressive matte proof cent. Although a full strike and squared rims are expected, they are no less impressive. Smooth surfaces appear flawless to the unaided eye and reveal just a couple of minor ticks under close examination. From a final-year production of 1,050 proofs. Population: 20 in 66 Red and Brown, 4 finer (11/16).
