1873 2C Closed 3 PR63 Red and Brown PCGS. This proof-only "Original" issue has long been popular with collectors and prized in all grades. The present specimen comes by its Red and Brown designation with a blend of copper-orange and violet-claret shadings. Minor contact marks between the raised stripes on the shield account for the grade. Population: 54 in 63 Red and Brown, 277 finer (10/16).
