Liberty Nickels
1909 5C MS66 PCGS. CAC. With the exception of the two branch mint issues, and of course the clandestine 1913, all 20th century Liberty nickels are essentially common dates from extensive original production totals. That said, high grade pieces such as this Premium Gem represent the caviar of the series. This frosty Mint State piece displays brilliant luster beneath light gold toning with sharp design features on both sides, qualifying as a full strike in this series. Population: 38 in 66 (5 in 66+), 0 finer. CAC: 11 in 66, 0 finer (10/16).
