Liberty Nickels
1912-S 5C MS63 NGC. The 238,000 nickels struck at the San Francisco Mint in 1912 represented the first time that denomination was ever manufactured at a branch mint of the United States. The issue also happens to enjoy the smallest mintage in the series by a wide margin over the 1885. Eye-appealing multicolor patina is inarguably the hallmark of this Select semikey. The interiors show primarily blue and green coloration that progresses to intermingled hues of reddish-orange, mauve, and lemon-yellow. Well-defined with surprisingly few distractions.
