1912-S 5C MS65+ PCGS. The 1912-S boasts a small mintage of 238,000 pieces, although it remains available for the patient collector through MS65. Finer examples becomes sincerely scarce. This Plus-graded coin displays a blush of champagne toning over the usual satin luster. Weakness on the right-hand stars and the lower-left portion of the wreath is typical of the issue. PCGS reports 50 finer submissions (11/16).
