Buffalo Nickels
1921-S 5C MS64 NGC. The 1921-S Buffalo nickel is a low mintage date, "somewhat scarce in all grades" in Q. David Bowers' estimation. This is a golden-brown near-Gem with powder-blue and lilac toning near portions of the rims. Luster shimmers across the undisturbed surfaces. The strike is sharp for this early branch mint issue, although the bison's head shows incomplete detail.
