1935 5C Doubled Die Reverse AU58 PCGS. CAC. FS-801. Among the most dramatic of the doubled die varieties in the Buffalo nickel series. The FS-801 can be distinguished easily by the broad "notching" or doubling, with wide separation between the two letter sets, in FIVE CENTS in particular, but other reverse areas, such as UNITED and the motto, also exhibit doubling. Near-Mint State preservation and marvelous color -- lilac and golden-pink predominant -- complete the appeal of this coin, which should be near and dear to Cherrypickers' variety hunters and Registry Set collectors alike. Population: 7 in 58, 15 finer. CAC: 2 in 58, 2 finer (11/16).
