1971 5C No S, FS-501, PR69 Cameo NGC. An estimated 1,655 proofs were struck in 1971 lacking the S-mintmark, an error created by the omission of an S mintmark on a proof obverse die. Only a few hundred examples have been certified. This brilliant, flashy piece displays frosted devices. Each side appears flawless. Census: 16 in 69 Cameo (3 in 69★), 0 finer (11/16).
