Early Half Dimes
1795 H10C V-1, LM-1, R.6, AU55 NGC. CAC. Here is a highlight coin for this session. LM-1 is one of the rarer die varieties of the 1795 Flowing Hair half dime. This high-end example is in an early die state, before the crack develops through the Y in LIBERTY. Pale gold and rich aquamarine toning embrace each side, allowing hints of luster to remain in the fields. The strike is sharp and even, and neither side exhibits distracting adjustment marks. This is an attractive Flowing Hair half dime and a simply outstanding representative of the variety, which is rarely encountered in any condition. CAC-approved in a prior generation holder.
