Early Half Dimes
1800 H10C V-1, LM-1, R.3, VF20 PCGS. Deep gunmetal-gray fields contrast with lighter gray relief elements on this midgrade 1800 half dime. This is a problem-free coin with just honest wear and minor circulation marks. The obverse rim is slightly weak from 7 to 9 o'clock, and the reverse exhibits weakness on the arrowheads and the stars above the eagle's head -- not unusual for the variety. This piece is in an early die state before the rim cud develops beneath the date.
