Early Dimes
1796 10C JR-4, R.4, VF30 PCGS. The first date of the dime denomination, the 1796 comes in seven different die marriages, all of which are collectible except for JR-7. This midgrade JR-4 example displays even wear and consistent cream-gray toning. Marks are absent aside from a faint vertical line near Liberty's ear, and a small obverse rim nick at 7 o'clock.
