Bust Dimes
1825 10C JR-2, R.2, MS64 PCGS. Although not as plentiful in Mint State as the 1827, the 1825 Capped Bust dime is a popular type-coin issue in this condition. The present JR-2 coin displays near-Gem surface quality that glistens with satiny luster. The obverse is toned in pleasing blue, lavender, and russet-gold hues; the reverse exhibits similar color but with the deeper hues tucked to the borders. The strike is even and notably sharp. This is a piece that the connoisseur will want to give close consideration. Population (all varieties included): 18 in 64 (1 in 64+), 9 finer (10/16).
