1846 10C F-101, R.4 Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. Unc. The 1846 is a major stopper for many collectors of Seated Liberty dimes, particularly in Mint State where only a handful of pieces are known. This example is unworn, and the strike is sharp throughout. Abrasions are minimal, although an old cleaning beneath deep olive-gray and army-green toning prevents a numeric grade from NGC.
