Seated Dimes
1853 10C No Arrows, F-101a, R.5, MS66 PCGS. CAC. A Top 100 Seated Dime Variety, struck from boldly clashed dies. The Mint produced a paltry total of 95,000 dimes in 1853 before adding arrows beside the date to signify a weight reduction. The facility struck another 12.1 million coins thereafter, highlighting the scarcity of the No Arrows coins. Survivors are unsurprisingly very rare as fine as this lightly toned and uniformly strong Premium Gem. Glimmering luster emanates through the thin overlay. Population: 11 in 66, 7 finer. CAC: 7 in 66, 3 finer (11/16).
