Seated Dimes
1860-O 10C F-101, R.3, Fine 15 PCGS. CAC. Legend Obverse Seated dimes were struck at New Orleans only during the first and final years of the subtype. The 1891-O is common, but the 1860-O is rare. Only 40,000 pieces were struck, all from the same die pair. Fortin regards the 1860-O as R.4+ in Fine to Very Fine grades. This is a russet-brown and cobalt-blue example with a bold LIBERTY and no distracting marks.
