Proof Seated Dimes
1869 10C PR66+ Ultra Cameo NGC. CAC. F-105, R.3. There are actually two variants of proof 1869 dimes, one with a Short Flag on the 1 in the date and one with a Long Flag. This is the latter variety. It is also the single finest Ultra/Deep Cameo proof certified of this date by either service (10/16). This is also the finer of only two Ultra/Deep Cameos to receive CAC endorsement. This is a magnificent example that is brilliant throughout. The fields are deeply mirrored, and the frosted devices establish the Ultra Cameo contrast. The sole imperfection is that is the strike is not full on the upper left portion of the wreath.
