1796 25C B-2, R.3 -- Repaired, Whizzed -- NGC Details. Fine. The single-year Draped Bust, Small Eagle quarter is the second-rarest silver type, trailing only its half dollar counterpart. The present example has an ivory-white center with medium gray toning at the borders. The portrait is smoothed near the lower left base of the neck, and both sides are whizzed and hairlined. The obverse is granular and the eagle device is heavily worn relative to the rest of the coin. All legends are bold.
