1805 25C B-2, R.2, AU58 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 2/2. This is a satiny coin with magnificent multicolor toning. The borders are strong, although the central devices exhibit some of the usual strike weakness, mainly on the reverse over the lower shield and the stars above the eagle. The toning makes this piece an eye-catching Draped Bust type coin. Population (all varieties included): 14 in 58, 21 finer (10/16).
