Seated Quarters
1854 25C Arrows MS64 PCGS. CAC. The 1854 Seated quarter is rarely seen finer than MS64, where the present coin resides. The surfaces are frosty and toned in lovely lavender-gray with daubs of olive near the obverse borders. Any minor grazes in the fields simply melt into the patina and vanish to the naked eye. Several obverse stars show the only mentionable strike weakness. PCGS reports 31 numerically finer representatives (12/16).
