Barber Quarters
1907-S 25C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Considerably fewer quarters were struck at the San Francisco Mint than at Philadelphia, Denver, or New Orleans in 1907, and all but a small fraction of the 1.3 million examples produced have been lost through attrition. Mottled blue and lavender shades intermingle over both sides with splashes of golden-tan hues and radiant, softly frosted luster throughout. Strongly struck with moderate incompleteness over the reverse shield and the lower portion of the eagle. Housed in an old green label holder. Population: 8 in 66 (1 in 66+), 3 finer. CAC: 3 in 66, 2 finer (11/16).
