Proof Barber Quarters
1905 25C PR67 PCGS. CAC. This piece is believed to have had only two different owners for more than a century of its existence. Another opportunity to acquire this outstanding proof may not occur for another long span of years. "Fresh" coins such as this always attract strong interest from knowledgeable collectors. This Superb Gem proof shows an unusual pattern of deep sea-green and amber-gold encompassing much of the obverse. The reverse shows only subtle lavender-gold color around the peripheries. The satiny devices are boldly rendered and the fields exhibit ample mirroring. Population: 13 in 67 (1 in 67+), 3 finer. CAC: 14 in 67, 2 finer (11/16).
