Standing Liberty Quarters
1917-S 25C Type One MS66+ Full Head PCGS. CAC. A 1917-S Type One quarter in MS66 Full Head is just as scarce as its Philadelphia counterpart in MS67 Full Head. This Plus-designated, CAC-approved example comes close to an even finer grade. The strike is sharply executed, and each side displays satiny luster cast in warm golden toning. A loupe reveals a few tiny grazes on Liberty's chest and the shield that determine the grade. PCGS records 16 finer Full Head coins (11/16).
