Standing Liberty Quarters
1918-D 25C MS66 Full Head PCGS. J.H. Cline described the 1918-D in Gem Full Head as: "One of the little known scarce Standing Liberty quarters. ... I would give it 60 to 100 pieces." Comparable Premium Gems are even rarer, with PCGS having seen 31 submissions in this grade (four in MS66+ Full Head) and one coin finer (11/16). Golden accents delicately tint brilliant, satiny surfaces devoid of major marks. Liberty's head and the chainmail are bold, but a couple of shield rivets and the eagle's breast feathers show incompleteness.
