Standing Liberty Quarters
1919 25C MS66+ Full Head PCGS. CAC. Pre-1925 Type Two quarters typically show sharper shield rivets and lines than the Recessed Date issues, and the 1919 is a frequent upholder of this phenomenon. Nonetheless, Liberty's temple is often weak, and the date is frequently flat. The present coin combines a sharp central strike with Full Head detail and a bold date. A lack of serious abrasions and frosty mint luster further boost the eye appeal. Close examination reveals delicate glimpses of champagne and lavender toning. PCGS reports 31 Full Head coins finer (11/16).
