Standing Liberty Quarters
1927-S 25C AU58 PCGS. Pretty much any 1927-S quarter grading finer than VF is a scarce find, and near-Mint coins with original luster in the fields are genuinely rare. This piece is nearly brilliant and exhibits only slight high-point friction with much luster remaining. Liberty's head, the shield, and the eagle's feathers show the strike problems common to this issue. A boost of appeal is generated by a lack of clash marks on the reverse above the eagle. This piece would fit in well with an otherwise Mint State Standing Liberty quarter collection.
