1795 50C 2 Leaves, A Over E in STATES, O-113a, T-14, R.4, VF30 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 3/2. The die crack atop LIBERTY is faint but present. Deep cobalt-blue and lavender patina drapes this impressively unabraded Flowing Hair type coin. One tiny area of deep build-up between two dentils at 2 o'clock on the reverse will identify this pleasing representative. The dies are moderately rotated. Always popular for the A over E engraver's blunder in STATES.
