Early Half Dollars
1803 50C Large 3, Large Reverse Stars, O-103, T-3, R.3, AU53 NGC. O-103 is the sole die marriage to combine a Large 3 obverse and a Large Stars reverse. The present partially lustrous example is lavishly toned sea-green, wheat-gold, and fire-red. The reverse appears unabraded, but we note wispy field marks near the shoulder curl and a slender mark below Liberty's ear.
