Early Half Dollars
1806 50C Pointed 6, Stem, O-115, T-17, R.1, XF45 PCGS. This variety shows dramatic repunching on the T in LIBERTY. On the reverse, ME are joined at the bases. In this later die state, a crack extends across the top of STATES. This is an attractive Choice XF example with light dove-gray toning that turns to deep cobalt-green near the lower obverse and even deeper multicolored iridescence near the upper reverse borders.
