Bust Half Dollars
1808/7 50C O-101, R.1, AU53 PCGS. CAC. The late die state with a heavy crack between star 3 and the bust. Overton was aware of the die state but did not assign it a subvariety. This lightly circulated and unmarked half dollar has cream-gray centers and steel-blue and russet borders.
Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2014), lot 3887, which realized $2,467.50.
