Bust Half Dollars
1808/7 50C O-101, R.1, MS62 PCGS. CAC. Splendid ocean-blue and apricot-gold toning fills the margins of this nicely struck half dollar. The fields are cream-gray, and glimpses of golden-brown outline the portrait. The semiprooflike surfaces are clashed but lack any consequential contact. An earlier die state than is usual for the 1808/7 overdate, without a second die crack between the bust and star 3.
