Bust Half Dollars
1812 50C Large 8, O-103, R.1, MS64 PCGS. A lovely cream-gray and lilac near-Gem with glimpses of apple-green, sun-gold, and plum-red across the margins. The lustrous surfaces are smooth aside from a few hair-thin marks near Liberty's jaw. The strike is sharp except on the right-side stars. Overton-103 is readily attributed by the vertical die lines above the eagle's left (facing) shoulder.
