Bust Half Dollars
1813 50C O-103'a', R.2, MS64 PCGS. CAC. The top of the 3 is partially filled on this example, as is typical for the variety. Although the variety is plentiful, the 1813 half dollar overall is scarce in MS64 and rare any finer. This CAC-approved Choice example displays a sharp, even strike and highly lustrous fields. Both sides are cast in olive-green and lavender-gold toning. No major abrasions are observed. Population (all varieties included): 22 in 64 (3 in 64+), 4 finer. CAC: 5 in 64, 5 finer (11/16).
