1815/2 50C O-101, R.2, VF30 NGC. A richly toned midgrade example of the low-mintage 1815/2 issue -- a perennial favorite of Bust half specialists and a necessary component for date collectors of both the half dollar series and of U.S. coinage by year. The overdate is a bonus, joining other notable overdates that add interest to the Bust half type. Vibrant shades of orange-gold and steel-blue show bright silver accents at areas high point wear. Sharp definition on the motifs remains with hints of golden luster.
