Bust Half Dollars
1815/2 50C O-101, R.2, VF35 PCGS. The dies clashed early on in the mintage of 47,150 pieces, and cracked soon thereafter. This O-101 example shows die clashing on both sides but none of the die cracks that indicate a later die stage. A band of deep bluish-gray toning surrounds silver-gray central devices on the obverse, with slightly less-intense toning on the reverse margins in blue and golden-brown shades. A few light lines and marks combine with light wear to define the Choice VF grade.
