1817 50C 181.7, O-103, R.2, AU53 PCGS. Overton's "Punctuated Date" variety with a die lump between the 17 in the date. Listed in the Guide Book, although late die state examples of the marriage lack the "punctuation." This early die state example offers attractive peripheral cobalt-blue and golden-russet toning. Marks are minimal, and luster dominates the peripheries.
