Bust Half Dollars
1818/7 50C Small 8, O-102a, R.2, MS64 NGC. Dusky ocean-blue and autumn-brown toning embraces this coruscating Choice half dollar. The strike is good, and no marks require description. The two different 1818/7 obverses are known as the Large 8 and Small 8 overdates. On O-102a, a die break fills the upper loop of the second 8. The two "horns" above that digit are remnants of the 7 underdigit.
