Bust Half Dollars
1824 50C O-117, R.1, MS62 PCGS. A lustrous and attractively toned example of the O-117 variety, easily identified by a small tine off the left wing and D of UNITED much lower than the adjacent E. Vibrant shades of gunmetal-blue and rose-gold combine for nice eye appeal. Sharply struck for the variety, which always shows a touch of weakness at Liberty's cap folds and at the top of 50 C. on the reverse.
