1826 50C O-118a, R.1, MS64 PCGS. CAC. A lightly toned, lustrous near-Gem example of this well-preserved Bust half struck from the late state of the O-118 dies. Frosty mint luster joins areas of reflectivity throughout the obverse and reverse fields. Pale-blue and light champagne-gold toning show glimpses of faint rose color amid the smooth, silvery surfaces. The strike is pinpoint sharp on all of the devices. Outstanding eye appeal, confirmed by the CAC endorsement.
