Bust Half Dollars
1831 50C O-102, R.1, MS65 PCGS. Attributed by partly merged lines within the first vertical shield stripe, this lovely Gem Capped Bust half displays attractive aquamarine, tawny-gold, and lilac-rose toning. Lustrous and unmarked with minor strike incompleteness on the IB in PLURIBUS. Tied at the low end of the Condition Census for the variety. Population (all 1832 varieties): 63 in 65 (3 in 65+), 4 finer (11/16).
