Reeded Edge Half Dollars
1838 50C GR-3, R.2, MS63 PCGS. A lengthy die crack from the rim at 7 o'clock through the eagle's shield attributes GR-3. A crack through the ball in the cap provides further confirmation of the variety. A coruscating stone-gray example of this two-year type. The fields are smooth and the cheek shows only a single faded thin horizontal mark.
