Reeded Edge Half Dollars
1839-O 50C GR-1, R.1, AU58 NGC. The obverse mintmark is repunched south, and the borders display lengthy bold die cracks. Generally untoned, although the margins offer dashes of orange-red toning. The obverse has hair-thin horizontal field marks and the neck has faded, closely spaced marks. The only collectible O-mint issue of the Bust type. Census: 41 in 58, 51 finer (11/16).
