Seated Half Dollars
1855-O 50C Arrows, WB-101, Die Pair 4, R.4, MS63 PCGS. Considering the mintage of more than 3.6 million pieces, Mint State examples of the 1855-O are few and far between. This Select Uncirculated coin displays original multicolor toning supported by bright mint luster. Sharply struck except for slight weakness at star 13 and the eagle's left (facing) talon, the surfaces show bold motifs with remarkably few marks for the assigned grade. A rim mark at 12 o'clock on the reverse is the sole abrasion of note, while a radial die crack from to star 4 toward Liberty's arm confirms the variety.
