Seated Half Dollars
1868 50C WB-101 MS64 PCGS. About 50 Mint State representatives of the 1868 are believed to survive, the most frequently awarded grade being MS63. Choice Uncirculated coins are very rare. Liberty's head and star 9 are inconsequentially soft, but the other motifs show a pinpoint impression. Yellow-green, cobalt-blue, and violet patina hides any grade-limiting flaws, of which there are few. Population: 5 in 64, 7 finer (12/16).
