Seated Half Dollars
1879 50C Closed Bud, WB-102, MS65 PCGS. CAC. The satiny surfaces display a large amount of prooflike character on both sides of this sharply struck and well-preserved, low-mintage half. The obverse strike is full, while the reverse shows just a bit of blending at the eagle's left (facing) talon and ankle. Tan accents join steel-gray toning for pleasing eye appeal. CAC endorsed. Population: 44 in 65 (2 in 65+), 69 finer. CAC: 14 in 65, 24 finer (11/16).
