1883 50C PR64 Cameo PCGS. This starkly contrasted Choice proof delivers a flash of vivid mint-green, electric-blue, violet, and amber-gold toning on the obverse when tilted beneath a light. The reverse shows blue and lavender in the upper-right quadrant with pale champagne color elsewhere. The surfaces are undeniably original, and a small tick next to star four is the only mentionable surface flaw. Population: 39 in 64 Cameo, 27 finer (12/16).
