Barber Half Dollars
1908-S 50C MS66 PCGS. Dappled tan-gold patina with traces of lilac-gray colors this conditionally rare Premium Gem Barber half dollar. The strike is incomplete over the centers, but the stars, fletchings, and tailfeathers are well-detailed. The 1908-S is underrated in the upper reaches of Mint State. Gems are rare and Premium Gems extremely so. This piece deserves a place in the finest of sets. Population: 5 in 66 (2 in 66+), 2 finer (11/16).
