1911-D 50C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Ex: Shireman. The recently released 20th volume in the Guide Book series, A Guide Book of Barber Silver Coins (2015), comments: "At the gem level, this is one of the key Barber half dollars of the 20th century." Golden-gray tones embrace each side with occasional gunmetal elements that add to the visual appeal. The right shield corner is fully defined, as are the stars and hair strands. A incredible example with radiant mint luster. Population: 10 in 66 (1 in 66+), 3 finer. CAC: 2 in 66, 2 finer (11/16).
