Barber Half Dollars
1913 50C MS64 PCGS. This better Philadelphia issue boasts a small mintage of 188,000 pieces -- only the 1914 and 1915 issues have lower production totals. Gems are rare, but this Choice example remains within the grasp of most series enthusiasts. The fletchings and the upper-right shield corner on the reverse are slightly weak, but the obverse is better struck. Softly frosted luster illuminates golden and russet toning on each side. A small reed mark behind Liberty's eye is the only notable abrasion. Population: 28 in 64, 21 finer (11/16).
