Barber Half Dollars
1913 50C MS64 PCGS. The 1913, 1914, and 1915 Barber halves comprise a trio of scarce Philadelphia issues to cap off the series, each with a mintage of less than 200,000 pieces. Of the three, the 1913 shows the largest mintage at 188,000 pieces, yet it is equally as challenging as the other two dates in near-Mint and finer conditions. This is a frosty example with great mint luster on both sides. Pale ivory-gold patina joins a bold strike with only minor incompleteness at the right (facing) side of the eagle. Population: 28 in 64, 21 finer (11/16).
