Proof Barber Half Dollars
1894 50C PR65 Cameo PCGS. The obverse displays cobalt-blue, magenta, and golden-orange border toning around brilliant centers. The reverse is largely untoned with pale daubs of color near the peripheries. Glassy mirrors on each side account for the Cameo designation. This Gem proof has terrific eye appeal and an expectedly full strike. One of 972 Barber half dollar specimens manufactured in 1894. Population: 16 in 65 Cameo, 24 finer (11/16).
